Using QU-16 to control Martin M-PC Software

Has anyone ever tried to use the MIDI functions on the QU-16 or any of the QU-series to control the Martin M-PC software or the new Qlab 4 lighting software?

Not myself however I’m interested to know what you come up with?
So would you be using USB to DMX convertor?
Or the TCP port on the QU?

I’ve ordered a USB to DMX interface but I was wondering if there was any other way of controlling “faders” in the M-PC software using MIDI. So far I’ve seen videos of people using dedicated MIDI controllers but so far it seems that no one has actually tried to use the custom fader strip on the QU-series as a lighting control strip.
