Whats the reasoning behind the 2 hour and 4 min and 16 sec limitation on the USB recording? Its burned me twice now during corporate events while trying to record sessions. There is obviously a reason, my frustration and curiosity need to know the technical.

Would it be possible in future updates for it to just auto start a new record file verses just stopping my recording all together?

Is that file size or time based?

Doesn’t matter if you have a 16G thumb drive or a 2T hard drive, recording time is the same.

    Hi Mac,
We use a FAT32 file system so 4GB is the max allowed file size. Auto starting a new file is on our feature request list, but achieving that without audio dropouts is far from trivial due to buffering etc.
