    Hello is it possible for usb to not be affected by the fader

    The short answer is yes for either USB jack.

    What USB jack are you using and by fader do you mean channel fader
    or main mix master fader.

    Sorry I wasn’t as clear what I meant is in multitrack recordings I will be using USB B mode but when I lower a channel fader on the mixer it affects my recording for that specific channel.

    If you are using input direct then you have to set the direct out to pre fader.

    You can also tyline the input’s to the usb.

    Not sure of a video link but the direct out setting is in the channel preamp
    set up menu. Tie line patching is in the IO set up menu.
