USB Channel on XB-14-2 won't mute using fader

Hi all, we just bought an A&H XB-14-2 and we plan to use it with one computer and 3 Mic.
Problem is, with ST6(USB) selected it’s impossible to lower the audio from the usb using the fader.
The audio don’t mute when I lower the fader, instead of muting, the mixer cut the audio from the L channel but keep it on the right (I can see it on the VU, see pic).
Is it normal or am I doing something wrong? all we want is for the mixer to let us manage the audio of the usb channel with the ST3 fader.
