USB B Recording Too Quiet – QU32 to iMac

I’m new to this board but have worked on similar ones (PreSonus). I have been trying to record to our iMac, it doesn’t have a line in 1/8″ port. I tried the USB B cord, but the recording is so quiet. It doesn’t even light up the input, if you record you can faintly hear it with the volume cranked. How can I get it louder?

I’ve tried 1/4″ to USB cords but they produce feedback, so I’ve run out of options and need to go back to USB B.
