Hi there!
This might have been written somewhere here before, but I couldn’t find it.
So when using the CQ, in my case CQ-12t as an audio interface, it turns out that channels 1/2 can be only routed to inputs 1 and 2 on the mixer. Also, from the mixer into the computer, 1/2 are always these two.
When using the CQ with a video conferencing system such as MS Teams or Zoom, there usually is no option to select the audio interface channels. Thus I’d need to have a post fader aux sending on 1/2 to feed such a system, and the return would optimally go to the ST channel.
Now I assume this puts up a conflict: The CQ tries to be as simple as possible. While any kind of routing for sure is possible in the internals, this would affect the usability for amateur users. Still, as it is – if I haven’t overlooked something – I need to use a separate audio interface the moment in order to use the CQ with video conferencing tools.
