    Hi
    I can’t seem to be able to update the 1.40.3232 firmware version to the latest 1.82 or even 1.73 on my QU-16.
    Message states ‘File not found’.
    I’m using a formatted WD My Passport Ultra HDD which I’ve used to record with and have copied the file to the drive.
    I’m not sure which is the root folder though. I checked online and have enabled ‘show hidden folders’ but don’t know where the
    firmware update file needs to go.
    Any help appreciated.

    I have successfully updated firmware (QU24) using a WD hard drive. Make sure the firmware file is in root of the drive, Lets say when you plug in your drive it shows up as your “D” drive, put the file in D:\. You may want to try this on a fresh format.

    It worked after I reformatted the drive.
