Hi all. Well I’m off to an embarrassing start. Brand new cq20b. Brand new 9th gen iPad. Plugged in MIXER. flashing blue light. Launched CQ app v1.1.3 Don’t see mixer? Reset mixer per manual. Reinstalled app. Still only shows demo mode. I’m maybe 3 out of 10 when it comes to this stuff (but been mixing FOH for 40 years) so any help getting setup would be so appreciated. Thank you!

Did you connect the iPad to the wifi network of the CQ or did you cable the network port of the CQ into your existing network (assuringly the same network as the iPad is sitting on wirelessly).

If you are trying to connect wirelessly between the iPad and the Mixer then using the mixer in wifi access point mode will be the simplest method. These steps are explained on pages 16-18 of the CQ user manual. Once the iPad and CQ are on the same network the mixer should show up in the list of available systems to connect to.

Go to iPad settings first and then Wifi menu. Find the mixer in the list of networks. The mixer behaves like a WiFi router, that’s how you connect to it and how the iPad communicates with it.
When the iPad is connected, go back to the CQ app and now you should be able to select your mixer from the list.

    Good luck!
