Having just done my first job on my new SQ5 for a TV recording here in the U.K. (see details on the Facebook SQ Users Forum) a shortfall that jumped out to me was the way the tone to channel in the channel Input Menu works.
It’s great that the option is there, but when you use it, it forgets which input it was on. It’s very useful for identifying feeds off a channel, or even getting a starting points for compressors in groups that a particular channel might feed.
Can I suggest that rather than being an option within that input menu, that it’s outside that box, and when pressed, overrides the selected input, and returns to it when the tone is de-selected.
That would be brilliant.
