A lot…a WHOLE lot…depends on mic placement. There can be quite a bit of difference in the directionality of the voice projection between people, so “one size” does not fit all, so to speak. The classic PAG/NAG focus on the relationship of source/transducer really comes into play.
As usual, get it right at the source and the rest will fall into line.
Currently have the AMM setup with one Podium Mic and 4x Wirelesss handheld. In a massive, open space with hundred of booths and loads of competing noise, the AMM is performing surprisingly well. Will definitely be using this a lot more!
