    It would really rock to have the saturation of tape live. An emulation of a tap machine, or mastering tape would be incredible.

    Yep! It would be great indeed..
    Being able to insert it on some sources or groups AND on the masterbuss after that SSL comp 😉

    I’d suggest to test out a great 2″ 16 track like the MCI’s.. Fat and round!
    As well as the 1/4″ 2track.. Love the MCI JH110 WITHOUT xformers.. Ampex is also a great machine as well as the studer 820 (if you want a newer one).
