I may have a workaround that may work for you depending when and how you use the talkback. Set your talkback to output on all mixes and un-mute them when needed. Not the perfect way but better than having to go back to the mixer.

It seems that this feature was added to v1.8. Anyone know how to use it?

no I have not figured that out either yet.
I’m onmly at this moment in demo mode and see the switch is momentary

It controls the desk talk ck channel, so a cheap tie clip radio mic is all you need…

Or a way to stream from the iPad mic to the talkback input, maybe via an airport?

with Apple’s Airport Express, it already sends stereo audio to the wireless router’s mini headphone jack which in turn is connected to an input, but unfortunately, Apple does not allow app developers to route the built in mic to Airplay.

That would be great if they did… but oh well 🙁
