Surrender channels for busses

I find myself in a situation where I’d almost never run out of channels but I’m often a bit limited by the 42 busses.

It would be cool it we could surrender groups of channels in order to gain busses.

2:1 ratio would even be fine.
Surrender 4 channels and gain two mono busses or a stereo bus.

It could really come in handy.

Would love this! I got used to DiGiCo, where all that matters in input/buss/matrix configuration is the bottom line. As long as you’re under budget overall, then you’re golden.

It would be great if there was an option like this! 42 busses sounds like a lot, but it goes quickly – especially if you are using stereo groups, sends and FX.
