    I have a c3500 and DM48 that have been rock solid since 2018. Yesterday, I began working on show prep and am having an issue. After about 5 hours of use, the surface requires a restart and says lost connection to mixrack. The log reads: “Communication Lost – 192.168.1.72 (surface IP) – Server Side.”

    Some back story: I recently had the c3500 out with our DM0 on a 3 week show using firmware 1.98. No issues.

    The DM48 was upgraded to 1.98 yesterday so that it was compatible with the c3500.

    I have tried two different ethercon cables. Both surface and mixrack are on UPS. No cards in surface. GigaAce, Dante, and waves cards in mixrack, but not in use.

    Has anyone else run into something similar?

    Problem solved. Found a network port looped on a connected switch.

    buenas tardes, tenemos precisamente el mismo problema se desconecta la superficie con el mix rack y no sabemos el por que, esperamos puedas ayudarnos te agradeceriamos bastante, excelente dia bendiciones

    Look for network problems. Only connect Mix Rack or Surface to a larger network, not both. Also, duplicate IP addresses can cause disconnects.
