We haven’t been using the ME1s for awhile and the rubber parts get real sticky.
Any idea how to remove the stickiness?
Apparently tried using lighter fluid however it doesn’t work.
    Thanks

YES, exactly the same with some 3 of my 8 ME-1. They’ve gotten really sticky and unsightly. So far I haven’t got any advice on how to fix it. For the price of the devices I think you could expect a little more high-quality materials! I’m curious if colleagues have suggestions for a solution here?

    Thanks….

I heard they changed the material in recent years to prevent just that.
Get in touch with your dealer, they can swap out the casing for you.

Mike are you sure the dealer will replace it? Are you talking from experience? The devices are out of warranty. Of course we would be very happy about a goodwill exchange. 😉

I have been using isopropyl 70% alcohol and a piece of cloth to patiently wipe off the stickiness and it actually worked.
