    Hi,

We have ab Avantis in our theatre space connected to an SQ6, in our Broadcast control, room via Dante. The SQ6 Then outputs Via Dante to a Tricaster TC1 which has Dante Virtual Sound Card. During Live production we are getting what I can only describe as digital glitching in the audio. The audio rapidly drops in and out for a few seconds, as if something is buffering somewhere. The audio to the SQ6 remains fine so it is happing on the Tricaster.

I was wondering if this is a sample rate issue? I know the Tricaster’s analogue input sample rate is 48kHz but will this apply for the digital. If so would changing the AES output on the SQ6 from 96kHz to 48kHz improve performance?
Hope this makes some sense, I am quite new to the field of digital audio.

    Any advice would be great.
