Sq5 usb to pc (win 10) randomly loses connection

In the middle of live streaming the usb connection goes away., has worked fine since installed 3 months ago. Any ideas on what caused this to happen and how to fix?

Hi @ejo80 –

The first thing to check would be anything that’s changed recently in the setup, which could also include any system updates.
We always recommend running the latest firmware (and re-installing the latest version won’t hurt) and if you’re running on Windows, it would be worth re-installing the driver too.
If none of this helps to find the issue, please contact us using https://support.allen-heath.com with details about the setup and how you are using the SQ when the connection drops (and what you need to do to get it back).

Also worth checking the USB cable/sockets at either end – I’ve had recent issues with a USB Drive dropping out on PC that turned out to be a very dodgy cable.
