    Hello all,
    I have an SQ5 in a room that lots of more novice people use. It would be easiest and probably safest to leave the SQ turned on all the time and just turn the amps off on occasion. Is that going to hurt the board or the screen to leave it powered on all the time?

    I think the bigger issue is an SQ5 in a room with lots of novice people poking around in the mixer and expecting it to be in a usable configuration the next time someone needs to use it.

    The mixer it self should be fine, make sure the fans are not blocked.

    If anything, it’s the power cycles (on/off) that tend to kill electronics. Being left on for a prolonged period of time should not be an issue as long as it is staying cool as Mike C suggested.
