SQ & Qu-Drive

I don’t own an SQ yet, but am planning on picking one up in the near future. Can a multi-track recording on a USB hard disk that was created on a Qu series be played back by SQ?

don’t understand exactly what you need to know…
hard disks used on the SQ-drive should get formatted with the SQ-Drive,
but it is not shure that a hard disk formatted on Qu-Drive is not working on SQ

it depends on to much things, you have to try it by yourself

Hi @scott ,

Qu-Drive is 48kHz and SQ-Drive is 96kHz, they also use slightly different folder structures.

So no, it is not possible to play Qu-Drive multitracks on SQ-Drive directly, though you could upsample and edit using a computer.
