Is there a way to have a proper date stamp on SQ Drive recordings? I couldn’t find any info on this. Every recording says 1/1/17 1:01 AM.

No, the SQ do not have an internal clock, so it do not know what time it is at all.

I agree. This is a problem. It would be great if this could be added in the future

Could be but not likely. Too expensive to add and not really needed.
Copy the files to the PC and the datetime gets added to the file meta.
Edit the file name and insert your own datetime for easier finding it.

As the consoles does not have the hardware needed to run an internal clock,
it would mean all consoles would have to go for service and have the hardware fitted.
(provided they could find a way to tie it into the console)

Although the SQ doesn’t have an internal clock, I guess if it is connected to a network it could ping a NTP server and get time code from there… (Just thinking outside the box!)
