to compensate the occlusion effect (search YT for “occlusion brashler” ) a separate processing (eq) of my voice’s mic channel is needed.
One eq is for FOH and other monitors, the other one just for my in-ear monitor.
    I can imagine two approaches:
    – one physical input feeds two independent channels
    – output can access signal from different output
Anyway, the problem, as described in the YT video, should be known and i hope the A&H team will adress it in future.
So far i help myself by outing an output back to a separate input.

You can’t even do that on Qu range, without an expander, buy an SQ or higher if you need to split physical inputs. It’s unlikely that you will get that feature on CQ, as its simplicity of use, ie no need to have patching, is actually one of its selling points.

The only option on the CQ series would be to split the vocal mic into two analog channels prior to the console and then use two inputs on the CQ – each with different processing. This really isn’t a bad solution because even if you could double patch the input to two channels like you can on other consoles, you are still using two inputs. So the real difference is just the fact that with the CQ, the splitting of the analog source signal needs to be done prior to the console.
