Tagged: slider sensitivity volume
Hello. We use the SQ6 for our church services, and for basic sunday service only use 5 channels/microphones. Recently, the slider for one of the channels does not seem to adjust the microphone volume, so I have been forced to adjust volume by pushing the green SEL button, then adjusting the Preamp Gain knob.
I am wondering if there is a sensitivity setting for the slider that needs adjusted?
It could be that particular physical fader is beginning to have problems/fail.
A better solution to your problem would be to move that channel to a different fader and see if the problem “follows” the change. If the channel works normally when you move it, then you know the problem is with the physical fader. You can try to use the “recalibration” feature on the console, but it likely won’t help. If it still doesn’t work after recalibrating the faders, then contact A&H support or your distributor for further assistance. It may be that the fader bank needs to be replaced.
Hi Team,
I have recently sent an SQ7 back to the Distributor with a mayjor Fader5 issue where the fader was not responding and creating all kinds of issues with the console including issues with the Graphics,I believe this issue was caused by a heavy knock in transit
The SQ 7 is only 2 years old and have been told that the SQ 7 only has 12 months Warranty?? Can someone confirm how much Warranty is on the SQ7 range, Purchased in 2022
FYI – this forum is not an official A&H support channel. You should reach directly out to your distributor or A&H Support (via the company’s main website support section).
Thanks guys. Strange thing – I went into Church this past Sunday and now that channel is working perfectly. I’ll post any other developments. I’m glad that it is working, but I’d still like to understand what happened!
