    Hi
    It would be nice to be able to simplify the USB recording setup, to be able to choose the tracks to arm more easily as happens in the CQ series, or something similar… now it’s not very intuitive…

    It is impossible to simplify when you have the ability to route any of over 500 possible inputs and outputs to any of the 32 USB channels. The I/O patch matrix is the only way, unless you turn SQ into something as basic as CQ.

    ok I understand, but at least being able to arm only the tracks you need would be useful, I think this makes sense

    only patch the channels you want to record.

    And what is simplifying about doing it as laboriously as it currently is?
    What speaks against the desire to be able, from all the already patched tracks to select in the SQ-Drive window only those that you really want to record, just like you would also do with a connected PC?
