Could someone give a run down of signal flow on the dLive? I’m a little confused on how buses and matrices fit into the picture.

Also, are groups assigned to LR by default?

If you assign a channel to a group that goes to the LR do you need to unassign that channel from the LR?

Get the 1.70 Firmware Reference – Block diagram on pg 125. You have Mixes – Aux (st/m), Group (st/m) and Matrix (st/m) which, as of 1.70, can pretty much be fed from any input/bus or feed any input/bus – so some of the traditional restrictions are now gone if you want them to be. Read carefully on sample alignment because once you feed certain mix->mix or mix->input combinations you lose the alignment.

Groups are not routed anywhere by default.

Channel -> LR and Channel -> Group -> LR are fully sample aligned, so you don’t _have_ to unassign them if you have a valid case for having them dual assigned.
