    Is it just me?

I cannot for the life of me get knob values to be where I want them to be. I don’t know how to turn them up or turn them down reliably. This is using an iPad or a MacBook.

    Using a CQ-20B.

This is my biggest gripe with the system. Knobs are impossible. Sliders or being able to input values would make things so much easier to dial in.

Fader is up/down and knob is left/right. Take a bit of time to get use to it but nothing crippling to most users.

I haven’t found setting the correct values on my iPad a problem.

    Hi All,

Something to add which is often missed, is the fine adjustment for faders and complete channel parameters:
Described in the user guide here – https://www.allen-heath.com/media/CQ_User_Guide_V1_1_0_iss1.pdf#page=21&zoom=auto,-361,361

To try and give a slightly alternative explanation from the guide (which is really simple in practice, just difficult to explain with words!)

With the parameter selected for adjustment, move away from the control perpendicular to the direction for adjustment to get fine control.

    Complete processing parameters
    Move left/right = Adjust
Move up/down away from control, then move left/right = Fine adjustment

    Faders
    Move up/down = Adjust
Move left/right away from fader, then move up/down = Fine adjustment

    Thanks,
    Keith.

This is a very nice tip! (link to user guide not working anymore, though)
