Newbie here but looking for a definitive protocol for updating scenes. Is there a way to select a ‘source’ scene whose data (partial or not) I want to update to some specific destination scene(s)? Let’s say I’ve just written a change to Scene 5’s Mix 10 PEQ and want that copied to Scenes 7, 10 and 24 using manual update. I get selecting the scope to point to that data but not, but puzzled on the source and destination selection.

Yes, you can select changes that you want to make on several scenes and then “update” all of the scenes at once. I suggest that you download and refer to the latest “Firmware Reference Guide” for specific instructions (pages 35-36). There are a variety of options available depending on what you are looking to accomplish and the manual explains it pretty well.

I sorted this through experimentation. The source scene is always the scene you’re in. And that’s the case whether you select the scene you’re in for the update or not. The Reference Guide could be clearer. That’s the answer I was looking for.

The current scene is not involved in the update process. More precisly, a current scene doesn’t exist. Just a last recalled scene.

Thanks for this clarification! Very helpful. I didn’t find it to be clear in the documentation.
