Looking for some help from any scene ninjas out there…

I split my console into FOH and mons with all inputs double patched, basically creating two consoles but sharing gains. I switch between these modes using scenes. The only thing’s being recalled are fader layers and some soft key assignments. This works great and I’ve been doing it for a while.

The issue is that when I make changes to my fader layers, I need to go to the scenes menu and store the scene again before switching to the other one. I want to setup a button to save any changes so I don’t have to keep going into the scene menu. I tried using auto store and locking all other scenes but it doesn’t seem to work when the scene is fired from a softkey.

    I’m open to any suggestions!

Hi, I didn’t find a way to do this. When I set up my desk for the same purpose I put all the split channels for monitoring in DCA’s and put the spill for them on softkeys and the DCA fader to always be at unity. I also had the iem mixes on softkeys. It’s not exactly what you want to do and you can’t reorder the faders in dca spill, but maybe this helps anyway. Also under v2.00 you can recall strip assigns from softkeys.
