Request: Mixpad FX/UltraFX control and Scene Save

I realize A&H does not intend for full control of the dlive platform over the MixPad app but it would be really helpful to have control over the following features inside the app.

-RackFx & RackFX Ultra
-Dyn8
-Scene Saving

I tend to do these functions when “walking the room.” I envision the FX controls to be similar to the M32/X32 iOS app. I apologize if these are already in there and I just don’t know how to get to them. If that is the case, please someone correct me!

As recommended many times on this forum, if you want good mobile control of the DLive system, you really need to check out the third party app, Mixing Station. While I don’t believe it has been updated yet to be able to control the new Ultra FX racks, it does allow you control of all the other features you are wanting (Dyn8, original FX racks, scene savings/loading, etc). I’m sure it is only a matter of time before the developer David gets it working with the new FX racks as well.

Just to clarity, the latest version of Mixing Station is compatible with the DLive 2.0 firmware, but I don’t believe there is a way to change the setting of the new FX racks in the Mixing Station software yet.

If it’s been asked for over and over again, then they should consider adding it! I have mixing station and for quick stuff, I still prefer the MixPad app.

I hope they can add these features.

+1 for saving Avantis scenes using MixPad. Our Yamaha LS9 could do that. We used it constantly and miss the feature.
