I would like to be able to use the Avantis in an upgrade for a church installation where the FOH is rarely used and the PA is almost always controlled by remote power sequencing and scene selection. We currently use a Crestron remote for system control.
But being limited to using the console interface to initiate the shutdown sequence seems to rule out the Avantis (and apparently most all contemporary digital mixers) from use in this type of application.
What I need is the ability to trigger a console software halt with either a TCP/IP MIDI command or GPIO input.
