    Greetings,

I am looking for the protocol to remote control input channel HPFs and PEQs (for microphone tone correction during shows) and output channel GEQs (for room correction based on measurements, during sound setup).

Are these parameters available programmatically on the Avantis? I have looked at the Avantis TCP/IP protocol https://www.allen-heath.com/media/Avantis-MIDI-TCP-Protocol-V1.0.pdf briefly, but it does not seem to mention PEQ or GEQ at all.

Furthermore, what is the math behind the GEQs? By the looks of the curves, and from https://community.allen-heath.com/forums/topic/2013-02-12-201026 it seems “Constant Q” mode uses RBJ Q (as in https://www.andyc.diy-audio-engineering.org/parametric-eq-parameters/index.html#eqn_10)? What is the Q. However, using Avantis Director 1.23 offline, looking at the curves displayed in seems to show various bands interact non-trivially, the resulting curve is not simply a sum (superposition) of individual adjustments? Can you confirm whether this interaction is indeed happening in the audio processing, or it is just a display artifact, and the resulting correction is merely a sum (superposition) of the correction of individual bands?

    Thank you in advance.
