Hi there, I’m a total newbie and doing some recordings onto my iPad Pro model: MTXN2X/A software version: 13.1.3. I have a ZED SIXTY-14FX and have the lead which goes from the mixer (with a USB end).. I need the correct USB to iPad lead but not sure which is the right one. Please can someone advise? Many thanks!

Which Allen and Heath Mixer are you using?

Unfortunately you are in the incorrect forum.
And there is NO FORUM [here with-in Allen Heath] for the Zed series mixers.
And I dont know quite why that is!
as all people that use Zed series mixers are potential digital relatives !?

However with an iPad you need a camera adaptor
and you need a USB lead like a printer uses . USB A [square shape] to the camera adaptor.
USB B or in the later units USB3 NOT USB C

Maybe you could check out Gearslutz forum?
    Hope this helps.
    regards

Yeh – I wondered which forum I should ask in! I have this lead which goes into the mixer – the square shape to a USB. So I’ll look into the USB B or USB3 and maybe post a question on the Gearslutz forum. It’s a late model iPad Pro which I only got 6 months or so ago and only has one small port (the charger port) with no headphone in port. Thanks for your help!
