    Hi there

    Still learning so be gentle

I have an SQ5 which has a number of inputs 1-12 that are mixed processed and I hear the sound out the speakers.

I also have the L/R mix going to USB to goto OBS on a laptop for streaming. Its all working Great.

What is going to be the easiest way to make a multitrack recording of the session by changing the minimum routing.
Will the output still come out the speakers?

SQ Drive or DAW on Laptop

I understand that I will not be able to stream and record at the same time and in fact it would be a seperate laptop that I would put the DAW onto
    Thanks in anticipation

    Hi,
    I just tried:

    – use WDM-Driver (SQ1/2 USB) for OBS Studio as Input and Patch your master to USB1/2
    – use ASIO-Driver for DAW. Patch other signals as needed.
    – be aware to set OBS to 48k/96k, like in SQ! (and DAW also)

Then you can do recording and streaming on one PC with one USB-connection.

If that does not work on your setup, I come up with the following other solution:
    – Use a Dante of Waves-Card in SQ to record to a 2nd PC
    – Use a ASIO-Soundcard on OBS-PC and send Main from SQ as analog signal there. Then use ASIO-Driver from Soundcard in OBS to capture main. Then use ASIO-Driver from SQ in DAW to record Multitrack.

    Best Regards,
    Tobias
