    Hi,
I’m new to the QU5. If we use AMM for a PA feed of a discussion but want to record the pre AMM audio is that possible – or is gain sharing adjusting the input gain of each source so recording the individual channels will record their auto gain adjustment?
    Thanks
    Richard

    Hi Richard,
As you can see in the SQ5 Signal flow diagram, the AMM controls the Volume AFTER the delay and BEFORE the mute + fader.

So to record the channel without AMM you can use almost every thing but not “post delay”.
You can use tie lines, auxes, direct out!
Pay attention that they are not set to “post delay”!

    All the best!

The input gain will never be changed or effected by the AMM.

You can see the AMM as an additional fader for the cahnnel!
