In the Config section, go to the USB/SD/BT Configuration and on the “Channel Assignment” section at the lower right quadrant individually assign the 4 FX groups to 4 stereo tracks.

You can assign them however you want, I do it sequentially to keep it straight in my head:
    “FX1” to “17-18”
    “FX2” to “19-20”
    “FX3 to “21-22”
    “FX4” to “23-24”

Using Logic I created 4 corresponding ascending stereo tracks with inputs starting at 17-18, using output 17-18 for each.

You don’t have to do this, but since I recorded a single guitar take with 4 effects, I grouped all 4 inputs into a summing stack in Logic, named it “CQ18T FX-[part]” and saved that to the Logic template I created for my CQ18T. Makes it easier to work on all 4 tracks as a whole or go into them individually and do whatever I need there as well.

I haven’t recorded simultaneous clean and FX tracks yet. I’ll post another comment on my thoughts around process and workflow when I do.
