    Hi,

i’ve been fiddling around a little bit, and don’t seem to find a way, so i’d like to ask if there is any at all…

my idea was, to prepare certain FX (VoxShort, VoxLong, DrumSmall, etc..) and recall those with the push of a soft button via a scene, where everything else is filtered out by the global filter. Now the issue is, I just want to recall one of the slots in the FX rack, the others should stay were they were during a show.
Am I assuming correctly that this is not possible, since even with everything else blocked, I can only recall the “full” FX rack, so all the 8 slots at once?
    Am I missing something?

    Thank you

I don’t have an SQ to check on so I have no idea if this works or not, but is it possible to safe the individual FX racks outside of the global safe menu? Let me explain…. While the global safe might only allow the entire 8 racks to be safe/not safe, it might be possible to safe a rack individual outside of the global safe menu. Just like you can safe a channel or other parameters outside of the global safe menu, perhaps this is available at the FX rack level. It’s worth checking into……

i don’t have the desk at me right now as well, but as far as i can remember, i can only recall safe the levels sent to the fx and their returns, not the settings of the FX themsekves. i’ll check in a couple of days when i’m home again, but i’m pretty sure i tried that way.
thx for the answer anyway 😉

a workaround could be to first save user presets in the FX library and then recall those individually, I guess?
