QU24 as audio interface channel limit

I use my QU24 as a soundcard with either Ableton and my ipad. I manage to use channels 1-16 successfully, but I can only get the first 16 channels into my DAW. The channels 17-24 show signal on the mixer, but don’t feed into my DAW, although they are recognized as input channel, they stay silent. I checked all the routing options in the 17+ channels, they seem to be aligned with the 1-16 channels. Both my Macbook and my ipad are top spec. Might there be a setting which I have missed?

What menu did you check the routing in?

In the set up screen IO patch USB Audio is where the channels are assigned to the USB tracks.
You probably want to use the direct out option.
The global channel direct out settings are located in any of the input channels routing menu.
Maybe start with follow fader follow mute turned off and post preamp.

Mike, Thanks a lot, that was the problem, it was all scrambled up after channel 17….
