    Hi
This is my first post so Hello world!
I’ve just bougt a qu16 and is coming on thursday. My problem is that I am not sure if I did a good mixer choice for my needs or I would be better of buying a ZED r16 for the task.
I basically do HH and reggae, and the board is only for studio not live gigs or venues installations or such.
    What dou you guys think?
    Thanks for the help.

I have used both and by far and away the QU16 beats the Zed r16 hands down.

    24/48 khz recording,
4 Aux outs mono plus 3 aux outs stereo (as opposed to 2 post and 2 pre)
Midi control of DAW faders via custom layer,
    virtual sound checking

generally its a great board – and you have the option then if you do need to take it to the road – of being able to do so with much more ease and option.

    JW
