    Hey everyone,
One of the biggest frustration with my band is everyrtime they have to open up the qu you app they need to reenter the password which if making a quick change on stage is not quick is there anyway to disable this so they can log in once and have it save so it is not needed on every log in or everytime the screen is brought up?

If instant access is desired, why not just stay with the app instead of navigating elsewhere?

    Timeouts etc.

I get annoyed by it on the QuPad app as well, any WiFi glitch and it’s tap in the password time…

we do stay in the app but if the phone or ipad goes to sleep as there is sometimes between sets for speakers and such, also we just started using an app for our song lyrics and chords and would love to be able to switch between the two apps with out log in.

To be accurate, Qu-You doesn’t have a password access.
It’s your devices dropping off the wireless network and the network asking you to log on again.
It sounds like this is happening when your iPads/iPhones go to sleep.

    So stop them doing it.
    Settings > General > Auto-Lock – set to “Never”.

To stop your devices switching away from your desk’s router to the venue’s local one or any other you have logged on to in the same area, go into Settings > Wi-Fi >
Make sure your device is logged on to your router.
Then against any other network names displayed, press the “info” logo and on the next page select “Forget this network”.

Also – turn off “Mobile Data” and disable Bluetooth.

Make sure your devices are fully charged. If they drop into “Low Battery Mode” at around 20% charge level, they are also likely to fall off-line.

Qu-You *can* be password protected (as can Qu-Pad) – there is a specific on desk password setting for the QuYou, and QuPad uses the Admin password.

Those are then not saved on the iDevice, which is really annoying…

They don’t “have” to be password-protected.

No – but depending on your control of the network then it can make sense.

It certainly makes no sense not to allow the keychain to store said credentials.
