The audio output of my alt-out is not working correctly.
I wanted to use the jack outputs to drive an amplifier.
so I did the following:
got a TRS (balanced) jack to xlr male and hooked it up. L + R channel.
then I patched the signal in my case MTX1-2
on both of the channels I have very low output. left output even more than the right output.
tested it with a sign gen @ 0dB on mtx 1-2. still not enough signal.
i also checked the pot meter for alt – out on the PAC no difference.
checked it with sign gen on L+R and used the 2TRACK out this was OK.
is there something wrong with the dac? I cannot think of anything else.
