Qu driver issue

    Hi,

    I am connecting a Qu16 by USB to a windows 10 pc with Cubase 9.
    The computer is a Intel Core i7 CPU clocked at 3.00GHz.
    Installed RAM is 16GB.

    When recording in cubase I often hear cracks and hisses going into to the DAW.
    I think that it is caused by load on the PC and the driver starts getting behind. I am only running the DAW.
    It goes into the recorded tracks. What can I do to prevent this ?
