I have had issues using this seems a bit temporamental – need guidance on how to record the effects. Is it that I need to select post fader ? or do i need to slelet the FX channel to record?
    Thanks

Post fader doesn’t work, the effects are added after that point.

Your best bet is to, in the i/o settings tab, assign the neede fx-returns to one of your 18 (onboard recording) or 32 (external recording) recording outputs. An advantage is that you then still have control over the fx-level during mixdown.

    Good luck !

Thankyou very much Giga, the things that clicked wehn I was trying to arm the recording for the first time was choosing a scene from the data, prior to to that the recording channel was greyed out. Does that sounds right? It worked anyway Still so much to learna about this desk

Ok, so I checked and I guess you could say the Qu-drive screen looks a bit greyed out. I can’t remember seeing it any other way though.

I’m on a Qu-SB so the screenshot is from my iPad. Does that look familiar ?
