Howdy! I’ve found confirmation in these blessed forums that indeed the Qu-Pac can do a stereo mix by combining Mixes 1 and 2, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to actually do that in the app! I am trying to make Mix outputs 1 and 2 a stereo mix, 3 and 4 a stereo mix, etc etc for 5 band members. Thanks for the help!

Mixes 1 2 and 3 4 can not be combined together as stereo mixes.

Groups can be switched to operate as stereo mixes.

Which you can not send out of mix outputs 1 – 4.

You’ll need extra IO. 1 AR84 would give 2 extra stereo outputs for you.

True, on the QU Pac surface you can not access the group outputs.

Well almost not….the ALT OUT and the AES OUT can be set to a group out, the group
output is the same if the group is in group mode or stereo mix mode.

Other than that you do need a stage box.

Thank you guys for the insight! I get changing the groups to mix outputs, but if I am correct, based on what somebody said previously, Those still cannot be sent to the mix outputs on the back of the board? Could the LRE outputs be used as a mix, also?

Pseudo, the LR mix is, after all, also a mix. One of the band members could get the “mains mix” on his in-ears if you don’t need to send to foh.

So after changing the groups to mixes, where does one send that to out of the rear, to actually connect to the IEM units?

The Alt Out can be set to one of the group/mix outs. More than that you will need a stage box to get the additional outputs.

I think its best to use one of the stereo mix outputs, which are best designed for this purpose
