Quick question: If I use a Qu-32 and an AR2412 together, do I get a total of 56 channels (on 2 layers) or is the total still 32 channels, with some on the AR2412 an some at the Qu-32?

    Total 32+6. 38 inputs counting ST 1,2,3.

I didn’t completely answer your question. Yes. You can have a mix and match of local and dSnake inputs. Can be selected and routed.

… and to add to that, the input’s you choose to use can be saved in each scene.

An example of this for me recently, was a wedding, where my Qu-16 was maxed out with the band, but they wanted 5 radio mics & backing track for the Bridesmaids to do a short performance after the speeches.

You can get a few extra XLR mic inputs using a stage box and routing some of the box inputs to the stereo input channels.

Maybe it’s just me but I find it’s easier to set up stage boxing and input routing using QU Pad rather than the mixers touch screen.
