    Hi there!

Just out of curiosity I plugged hooked up our Qu-16 with my Linux-Laptop… with Firmware 1.4, a new USB-Audio Device showed up, providing MIDI and 18 inputs and 18 outputs. I’m amazed. A&H, you rock!

This is definetely some added value for me and probably others.

I wish the 01V96i that I use in my little home studio could do the same. (Currently I have it connected via ADAT to an old RME card.)

My Linux is an now old Ubuntu 12.04 with the KXStudio PPAs installed. Plug and play.

Also, this makes me hope that the Qu-16 will still work together with future computer hardware, since theoretically no special drivers would be needed any more.

As Qu was always class compliant with Mac, this doesn’t surprise me. Windows is the exception here, it sucks at adhering to class compliant standards. Multichannel audio compliance is non existent.
