    Hello

I am purchasing a Qu-16 mixer (not Chrome). My question is, can I install the latest firmware 1.82 on this non chrome model.

    Appreciate your response.

    Regards

Yep, I’ve got it loaded onto my non-chrome Qu16. Works like a champ.

    Thanks for your response.

Do you know if the new features advertised for new chrome model will work with my old model of Qu-16 ?

Yes – the only difference is the colour of the faders!

So just cosmetic enhancements that’s all on the Chrome model ?

    That sounds good to me.

As I understand, the only differences in the chrome version is the chrome knobs and faders and the update in firmware.

I updated my non-chrome QU-32 recently to firmware version 1.82 and everything seems to be working fine.

And A&H sell the shiny faders separately if you want them…
