    Hello

I have been having some issues with my iDR-16.
Running the latest (Freshly reinstalled) firmware and iLive Editor and the standard FOH LR template, the following happens:
After the box has been off for a night, when I boot it up I can only get signal to come in. There is no signal coming out of the Main L/R.
    All faders are open.
However, when I turn the box off and on again it does work.
    What could be causing this?
    DSP board failure? PSU?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Greetings

I would doubt that it’s the hardware

    Hi Steffen,

When I factory-reset everything, it still has the same problem.
    It’s really strange!

can you listen (PAFL) to the outputs after start up?
if you have a signal at your phones then it could be the output relais

in iLive Editor I can see that signal comes in, but it’s not sending any signal anywhere.
All faders open still nothing. I believe it might be something digital, A&H wants me to bring it to repair center.
Guess that’s my only option right now.
Thanks for the help though it is greatly appreciated.

Have you tried reloading the same template or another show when it is in the fault state? Could perhaps be internal battery is getting low and dropping settings when off for a few hours. Could explain why it reboots OK as the battery will have charged slightly while it was on.

    That’s a good idea.
I have been busy for a while sorry for the late response.
I’ll be taking it to the maintenance people from A&H and asking them to have a look at the battery, as it’s soldered on.

I have tried reloading templates and it still does not work properly then.

    Thanks for the advice!

    To follow up:
Service found out the battery is broken and leaking.
Acid from battery ruined a bunch of stuff on the motherboard.
Now it needs a new motherboard.. oeff costs the same as it cost me to buy this unit.

Thanks for the advice though, was very helpful!
