Hi!
I currently have 2 SQ5’s via work and they are a charm to work live with.
“Unfortunately” my old PreSonus 24.4.2 mixer in my private studio died, so, now i have a third SQ5. For studio-use.
Studio and Live are two very different things, I know. But this problem i stepped upon right away in the studio is that it won’t play windows sounds.
For example, i start Spotify, it just keeps stepping through my playlist and it then says it cant play the song.
If i start something with VLC it says that VLC just crashed. (I unplugged the USB from SQ5 while this error message was up, and it started playing the file from laptop speakers)
BUT, if i start StudioOne, i can drag a wav into the DAW and it plays perfectly fine from there.
I also can record as intended.
Is this some “Share ASIO thingy” setting I’m not able to find in StudioOne?
But, it wont work even if StudioOne aint started…
Anyone with the same problem?
