pregain chanel

Goodmorning everyone
it would be interesting to have the possibility of multitrack recording with pregain. That is to have a pregain (pre preamp) in the “direct out source” settings so that during recording if I change the gain of the channel it is not affected.
What do you think?

The signal be analogue before gain stage, as the gain stage is analogue on all A&H preamps. So the would be no way to do that.

Then it would be useful to have a button that when pressed in multitrack recording is not affected if the gain value is changed.
Would this be possible? For me it would be very useful

use trim after the initial setup?

When I change the gain, it’s because it’s either clipping or too low. In either case, I want the multitrack to follow that change.
