    How do I undo pre-amp sharing or “Also Patched to Ip xx” ?

    Hi Jamfactory,

    You don’t….
    The Preamp control is in the analogue path (Before A/D conversion).
    If you patch an Pre-Amp to multiple inputs (This is called splitting) the Split is always in the digital domain (Which is post Pre-Amp) So you always share the analogue gain!.

    This is why there is a trim (And the option to set trim to surface).
    In Trim to surface you can set the Analogue gain to a level and than use the trim to set levels independently for each input channel.

    The only other way is to physically have 2 input connections, one for each channel.
    If you want 2 inputs of the same signal, you will have to split it before the physical mix rack connection, then each one can have it’s own pre-amp control.
    Otherwise it is as Martijn has said above.
