Until now I used my SQ5 only in conjunction with the DX168 which worked perfect.
Today I wanted to use the local inputs from the desk itself but couldn’t switch on the phantom power.
Checked again with the DX and phantom works on the DX but not locally.
    Did I miss something ?

Are you changing the input back to local? Not Dsnake

Yes, the input channels are in the I/O page dotted in the local window.

I had a similar thing yesterday, first time on 1.3 (not using 1.3.1 yet)
I was running externally on the DX168 and went to put phantom on a pile of condensers. The phantom power button pad etc was greyed out for some reason and I was a little panicked at the time being honest… I checked my input selection and was on slink. I tried just pressing and holding regardless and it didn’t select.. I went threw a few pages to see if the selection had moved or I had missed something nope… came back and it was no longer greyed out and I held n it selected in and worked no probs…

I switched to 1.31 to see if that changed anything, but no.
The phantom power “switch” turns red in the screen when activated but there’s no phantom power on that local input.
When I connect my DX168 and repatch that input to the DX, then the phantom power works.

I use the DX for now but when it’s a malfunction I have too find out soon as I have the SQ5 since february this year…

Turned out to be a broken component (coil) on the circuitboard.
    Repaired and working.
